Prof. Catherine O’Rawe’s Research Activity

Professor Catherine O’Rawe is Professor of Italian Film and Culture at Bristol University, UK. She is the author of books and articles on Italian cinema and stardom from the post-war to the present. Her research has looked at the demonization of young female fans and audiences, and her current project on non-professional actors has a particular emphasis on the vulnerability of the girl non-actor.
