Flavia Franguelli is a master degree student in Translation at the University of Turin. Interested in feminist and gender studies, she focuses her research on the relationship between gender and translation with specific concern to her specialization languages, Arabic and English. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Mediazione Linguistica e Interculturale at the University of Catania in 2018, with a dissertation on Zakariyya Tamer’s collection of short stories “Breaking Knees”. She is taking part in this project as a trainee with an Erasmus Traineeship scholarship.
